The Anaesthetics & Intensive Care Specialist Interest Group (SIG) brings together consultant anaesthetists and critical care specialists from across the South West Burns Clinica Network to support the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective care for patients with burn injuries requiring anaesthetic, critical care or specialist transfer services.

 

The group provides a collaborative forum for sharing expertise, reviewing emerging evidence, discussing complex clinical challenges and promoting best practice across the network. By working closely with the SIG Chair, specialised burn services and partner organisations, the SIG helps drive service improvement, supports clinical governance, and contributes to the development of consistent standards of care for critically injured burn patients throughout the region.
